About Brandon
Brandon Ross is an experienced play-by-play broadcaster who has announced more than a dozen different sports on TV and radio. He is currently based in West Hartford, CT, and will be relocating to Fort Wayne, IN in August.
He was most recently the lead TV play-by-play announcer for lacrosse, volleyball and soccer on ESPN3, ESPN+ and the Red Fox Network at Marist University, occasionally filling in on radio broadcasts for football and basketball. He has also served as a play-by-play announcer, color commentator, and sideline reporter for UConn women's hockey, volleyball, soccer, softball, and field hockey.
Over the last few years, Brandon has called games for the National Women's Soccer League, USL Championship, the Premier Hockey Federation, minor league baseball, and multiple other Division I schools including Fairfield, Holy Cross, and Yale. Games he has called have aired on Paramount Plus, NESN, ESPN+, FloSports, UConn+, and local TV affiliates around the country.

Beyond play-by-play, Brandon worked as a Live Audio Describer for the 2024 Paris Olympics on NBC and a
part-time news anchor at WTIC Newstalk 1080 in Hartford.
Brandon graduated from Syracuse University, magna cum laude, in December 2020, earning a B.A. in Broadcast & Digital Journalism and History. He also recently earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
